Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert to launch PAX Australia

Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert will open PAX Australia in July with a keynote about storytelling.

If you've heard of monkeys and islands, but rarely in the same sentence, shame on you -- it's one of the most celebrated point-and-click adventures in gaming history.

Gilbert now works with Tim Schafer at Double Fine Productions and recently released The Cave.

Gilbert joins PAX US favourites RoosterTeeth, as well as musical numbers from The Protomen and MC Frontalot as confirmed guests for PAX Australia.

The inaugural PAX Australia will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from July 19-21, 2013. Tickets are selling fast, with only single-day passes for Friday and Sunday remaining!
