New PS3 Models Surfaced the Net

A Brazilian website - Tecnoblog - have recently found intel on a newly rumoured PS3 models. The new PS3 model the website has found – which reportedly will come in 250 GB and 500 GB models as well as a 16 GB model – seems smaller and slimmer than the PlayStation 3 slim. News of this first broke just last week, when the FCC leaked documents that seemed to confirm that this new PS3 model was indeed about to be revealed.

Here are the pictures. All credit for these go to Tecnoblog.

Sony has not yet confirmed nor commented regarding these leaked images.

The top view looks like a grill. @_@ The side view however looks pretty good. Still pretty pointless, unless this has some new features, which I doubt.

The top of the console looks pretty ugly and it doesnt look that thin.
I'm sure if a 16gb model is released it would be a cheaper alternative to try get more people buying ps3's.

$99 dollars is optimistic but that depends how much they strip away and I personally wouldn't want a 16gb model.

I like that they're changing it up but personally I dont think its an improvement design wise over the current slim version. It seems they're sticking with the same style like the previous ps3 iterations but it just doesn't seem to translate that well the smaller it gets :P

Though improved fans etc would be more than adequate if I was looking for a new ps3 to buy.

That new PS3 design if legit is horrid. One ugly beast... I liked the original Phat console, the Slim is just too square but this new model [Facepalm] lolz Sony know better than this don't they???

i didn't think the slim was that quiet at all when i heard my friends running their machines. Both their machines also seemed to take a lot longer to load games as well or is that just me you reckon thinking that? lol.

Yeah, but I mean it is just nasty. I mean at the moment I don't even think you can buy a commercial top loading blu ray chassis. Or maybe they make them for cameras that take blu rays if there is such a beast.

I do like the idea of a 16GB version if the price difference from that to the 500GB is less than the cost of a 500GB HDD...

I also like the the PSU is still universal so OK for import...
