Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, which was released on PlayStation 2 in 2002, has been classified by the ESRB in North America, all but confirming the game's release on the PlayStation Store.
The game is expected to be released as a PlayStation 2 Classics game, allowing gamers to revisit the popular shooter series' roots.
The original game was developed by Red Storm Entertainment, which is now known as Ubisoft Red Storm, which developed the recently-released Ghost Recon: Future Soldiers, and is currently developing Rainbow 6: Patriots.
The tactical shooter was rated M for Mature, and contains blood, gore and violence.
