Pierce Brosnan speaks out against violent video games

Pierce Brosnan is best known for his portrayal of the womanising secret spy James Bond, having played the character through four films between 1995 and 2004.

Despite his portrayal being one of the more deadly James Bond offerings, the actor has spoken out against violent films and video games, saying they influence societies.

“I do think the movies influence, I hate to say it, on our societies," he told The Sun. “And the games, which deal with killing, which our kids play these days have a strong, twisted effect."

Brosnan doesn't let his children play violent games in their home.

He was pressed about the violence in the James Bond movies, to which he said they were "not so real".

“The kill ratio in movies is overwhelming and I never really took the violence in the Bond movies too seriously, the plot was not so real.

“We are a violent race without question and now what we can do with computer graphics is terrifying.”

lol silly James Bond *taps on forehead*
In a stroke of genius, Pierce Brosnan deducts that games rated to be not suitable for children are, in fact, not suitable for children. Love your work Pierce.
He's angry cause he's wife is obese :P

I always thought plots in video games were not so real either.
He's just mad that Goldeneye did this to his face

I'd really like to know Pierce Brosnan's stance on same-sex marriage.

If it's in a movie it would be ok but not in a game..

Seems to be the argument most people make about violent video games nowadays. It's pathetic.
silly man -.-
If movie violence isn't so real and video games are on par with actual murder, what would Scott Pilgrim vs the World be?
