Earlier this year there were rumours that Bethesda had cancelled Prey 2 before the publishing giant confirmed that the game had been delayed, but not cancelled. Now the Bethesda website has had a design overhaul, and Prey 2 is unmistakably absent.
Pete Hines, VP or marketing and PR had the following to say to IGN:
Since we had already announced it wasn't coming out this year and we don't have anything new to say on the game at this time, we simply didn't think it'd be appropriate to include it on the new site launch. We chose instead to focus on the upcoming titles we are talking about."
However the games featured on the site feature right through until next year, which would then indicate that the game is not looking due for a release anytime in the near future.
