PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale developer SuperBot Entertainment and Sony have broken up.
A Sony rep told Kotaku that the split ended "amicably" -- but we've all heard that one before.
"We have had a positive working relationship with this talented studio, and wish them the best of success in their next endeavor. PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale and the title's forthcoming DLC releases will continue to be fully supported by Santa Monica Studio," added the Sony spokesperson.
SuperBot operations boss David Yang thanked Sony, but suggested layoffs are likely as the developer moves on to new projects.
It's unknown what those projects will be.
