Sony is giving out free money to select PSN users

Sony is gifting $10.00 to the accounts of select PSN users in the US, but it is unwilling to detail the criteria to receive the free money.

"We hope you're enjoying your experience on PlayStation Network," says a note to multiple "active" PSN users who received the bonus as a thank you.

The promotion only seems to be for US customers.

Tis only $10 but still. [Shifty]
Lol, ''Sony goes all Oprah'' =D
Hope my U.S. account gets chosen!
I've been hearing they have been doing this in the US.
I've also heard they've done in the past for those who spent over $50 in a transaction.
I hope they do this all round the world and not just the US.
Probably as a thank you for long time PSN members, Or ones who have spent a certain amount of $ on the PSN
you need to spend $50 to get $10 lol

I think you're talking about a different promo that's currently going on with the PS Store.

I received the $10 free credit a few weeks back, in my US PSN. Since it came as a PSN message and I didnt hear about it before, I had to google it first to make sure it wasn't some scam :)
This started like a month ago.
this is obviously the spend 50 get 10 back thing, do some research yo
