While we're taking a nostalgic look back, does anyone remember it being this ugly?

It's only 12 years old, but mother-of-god the original is hideous. Good thing it got that makeover.

PS2 screens didn't get any favours by screenshots, especially when enlarged to 600px. It would look better on your TV (if it's a CRT), but check out the comparison in detail.

The new HD version reads worse, in my eyes. In the old graphics there was a nice, visible difference between floor, rail and ramp. Being able to read the landscape so clearly made it easier to visualise the lines you could take. Now everything blends together in a big next-gen grey brown deal.

Tony hawk was a lot of fun and I doubt the graphics took away from how well it played.

I agree with what desi said too.
