Bioshock Infinite is losing two multiplayer modes to the scrap bin after being considered not up to scratch, according to Ken Levine.
"As I've always said we are experimenting with things, and only if they are good enough will we put them in the game." - Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games
The first of the two scrapped multiplayer modes would see players placed inside arcade machines, where they would battle against waves of toys in a tower defense type game.
The second was titled "Spec Ops", involving four-player co-op through the single-player campaign.
From this news, it's not entirely clear whether or not Bioshock Infinite will launch with any multiplayer modes.
Infinite is set to launch on February 26 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
