A man in Paris has sold his video game collection of 7000 titles for a whopping sum of 1.2 million dollars on eBay. The collection counts all of nintendo's games from the NES to the Gamecube, as well as all the games on a SEGA console.
The seller 'Andre', told the LA Times that he has been selling video game collections online for years but has never tried anything gigantic like this.
“What I put on eBay is just a part of my collection. I still do have thousands of other games that I didn’t put there.”
This isn't any typical game collectioner; the man had every, yes, every game from Nintendo virtual boy to titles for the SEGA Dreamcast. After selling Andre said:
“I perfected some full sets by getting every title of them factory sealed, just for the challenge of it. Some titles are extremely hard to come by brand new when they’re 25 years old. Now that the mission is complete, maybe it’s time to move on.”
Andre can go on a long holiday, as for the buyer there's a big package awaiting in his mailbox. Sorry MMGN, but a summer sale this size is not likely to happen here any time soon!
