The Newest DLC For Borderlands Two Is Here But Is It Good Enough Loot ? To Save Pandora
A Quick Review On Borderland's Two's - Mr. Torgue's Campaign Of Carnage
The Latest DLC from gearbox for Borderlands two is here after the last DLC's minor let downs will Torgue's Campaign of Carnage bring back hope to the DLC the Borderlands franchise is know for ? Lets find out.
Plot and Story
If you love Borderlands hilariously witty humour and hilarious cast then you are in for a treat. Borderlands two's latest DLC Torgue's Campaign of Carnage kicks off with a laugh landing you in the starting area of The Badass Crater Of Badassitude where you very quickly learn of Mr Torgue a very manly particular equipped with you classic Borderlands sense of humour and stupidity. Torgue very quickly explains the situation and straight from the start you are sent to find a sponsor a sponsor for what you might as. This DLC is based around a fighting style arena where you fight to become Pandora's ultimate badass and unlock the vault buried in the arena. Once you have found your first sponsor named Piston he will give you the task of a small fight in the arena where you are pitted against a small amount of psycho's and brawlers. After that you are to then discover that you have been betrayed by piston and this sets the scene for the DLC to beat all of the badass's and move up the leader board to defeat piston and unlock the vaults loot.
The DLC is themed around the theme of Rebels and Bikers you will meet some old characters along the way such as fan favourite Moxxi and Tiny Tina along with new characters to fit the theme. The DLC also introduces Torgue tokens which can be used to purchase Torgue weapons from the new Torgue vending machines this is nothing game changing but is still something nice to mix it up.
Verdict
For $11.95 on the PSN or 800 Microsoft points the DLC is worth it I was able to complete the main plot in around 3 hours. But with a healthy dose of side missions and a new part of the map to explore and loot this could easily be boosted to at least 6 hours of value. All in all Torgue's Campaign of Carnage is a breathe of fresh air and brings me hope to the following DLC. I Give this a 8.5 / 10
